when praying the prayer of faith, you believe the moment that you pray that God hasanswered your prayer. There is no stronger confidence in God than THAT, and that's the confidence He wants us having in Him!
Once you have initally asked, that's all that is necessary - all He expects. (To keep onasking may be nothing more than doubt without one even realizing it. Doubt destroys the prayer of faith!). Then you start thanking and praising Himthat what you asked Him forhasbeen granted by Him and willmanifest. You faithfully continueto keep thanking and praising Him for what you asked Him for until the answer is manifest.
Trust God that the length of time it takes for your answer to manifest is exactlyGod's time, however long that time may be.

The prayer of faith

The Truth shall make you free
The human tendency is to think that if we have failed God and He is thus displeased with us, then God’s love for us has diminished also. This may be a human trait at times but it is not a divine one. Sin in all its ugliness, does obstruct a child of God’s fellowship with our Lord and it inhibits our opportunities to be used by Him and to glorify Him, but it does not lessen His love for us as His blood bought and washed children.

Jesus true love
What is true love and how do you know when you have found it?
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.
—I Corinthians 13:4-8a (NIV)
This verse describes the characteristics of true love. These qualities can certainly be found in the person of Jesus Christ, and they can be found in all truly loving relationships. The problem with trying to "find" love in our dating lives, is that too often we don't look for these characteristics. Rather we look at physical appearance, popularity, or wealth. These are not the qualities that God looks at and neither should we.
Love is best seen as devotion and action, not an emotion. Love is not exclusively based on how we feel. Certainly our emotions are involved, but they cannot be our only criteria for love. True devotion will always lead to action - true love.
Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with ACTIONS and in truth.
I John 3:18 (NIV)
Christ was devoted to us enough to give his own life for us (Romans 5:8), even when he didn't feel like it (Matthew 26:39).
Faith
That offer guidance, support and encouragement on subjects dealing with faith, such as Christian faith, faith in healing, faith in prayer, faith in others, and hope
Matthew 17:20
He replied, "Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you. "
Jesus replied, "I tell you the truth, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and it will be done.
